Dr. Keesha B. Taylor
Dr. Keesha B. Taylor is an accomplished educator, student assessment coordinator, and higher education professional with more than a decade of experience guiding students through the transition into college. Her career spans community colleges in Boston and New York, where she has supported thousands of learners with placement testing, admissions processes, transcript evaluation, academic accommodations, and the foundational steps required to succeed in higher education.
With a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University and two additional degrees in the field, Dr. Taylor brings both deep academic knowledge and real-world expertise. Her work has positioned her at the heart of student onboarding—helping students prepare for and navigate the admissions and placement process. Drawing on this experience, she now focuses on supporting students through the university application journey, offering personalized coaching, clear guidance, and practical strategies so they can present their strongest applications and enter university with confidence.
Dr. Taylor’s commitment to student success extends beyond campus. She has published research on reducing test anxiety and strengthening academic integrity, and she serves as an active member of the National College Testing Association (NCTA), including as a state representative for Massachusetts. Her leadership and contributions to the field have been recognized with the NCTA Service Recognition Award.
Fluent in American Sign Language, Dr. Taylor is dedicated to making college guidance and academic support accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing students, along with first-generation, international, multilingual, and nontraditional students from around the world.
She founded this coaching and consulting practice to offer students the honest guidance, clarity, and individualized support they often struggle to find. Through her blend of professional insight and genuine care, Dr. Taylor helps learners navigate applications, prepare for assessments, and move toward their educational goals with confidence.
